Milicia Keijzer was born in Alkmaar on April 17, 2003, and came up through the youth ranks at Telstar and VV Alkmaar. She made her Eredivisie debut at 16 on November 15, 2019, against Ajax, the club she joined in 2020. After her first experiences with the reserve side, she was promoted to the First Team for good by Suzanne Bakker in the 2022/23 season, helping the Amsterdam club win the league title. The following season she made her Women's Champions League debut and lifted the Dutch Cup. She joined AC Milan in the summer of 2025 and made 21 appearances in her first season across Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Women's Cup. Early in her young career, Keijzer came through the Dutch youth national teams, playing for the Oranje at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level.
