NereaNevado

Nerea Nevado Gómez was born in Santurtzi on April 27, 2001. After her early years with her hometown club and Bizkerre, she joined the Athletic Bilbao youth system in 2016. Apart from a loan spell at Alavés in 2021/22, she spent the entire first part of her career with the Basque side: after 102 appearances and 28 goals for the B team, she played 130 games (scoring 8 goals) for the First Team between 2018 and 2026, gradually earning a starting role. She joined AC Milan in the summer of 2026 for what is, in every sense, her first experience abroad. She has also enjoyed a strong run with Spain's youth national teams, starting with the Under-17 World Cup title in Uruguay in 2018 and continuing with the Under-19 and Under-23 sides. In addition, she has one unofficial cap for the Basque Country, from a 2022 friendly against Chile.
