Sally Ann Rainey was born in Muncie on December 19, 2002. After playing both soccer and basketball as a teenager, she committed to soccer for good when she moved on to college, where she thrived with the New Hampshire Wildcats and, in her senior year, the Indiana Hoosiers. Her professional career began in Serbia: in early 2026 she signed with Red Star Belgrade and helped the red-and-whites to a league and cup double, delivering in the biggest moments of the season. She joined AC Milan in the summer of 2026.
