Sara Stokić was born on May 31, 2005, in Smederevo, Serbia, and joined the Rossonere in the winter of 2024 from ŽFK Vojvodina. In her first six months at AC Milan she shone with Coach Zago's Primavera, putting together an outstanding run: she scored 12 goals and was instrumental in winning the Viareggio Women's Cup and, above all, the Scudetto, scoring in both games of the Final Four. She joined the First Team during the 2024/25 season, scoring her first goal in the Coppa Italia against Freedom and her first in Serie A in a comeback win at Sassuolo that proved decisive in reaching the Poule Scudetto; by the end of the 2025/26 season she had 29 appearances and 4 goals across all competitions. Her performances for AC Milan, following her time with the youth national teams, opened the door to Serbia's senior team: she made her debut and scored her first goal in October 2024, and as of April 2026 she had 11 caps.
