ICC 2019: AC MILAN'S OPPONENTS

AC Milan is going to play the International Champions Cup 2019 in Kansas City, Boston and Cardiff. After last year’s experience when AC Milan played in Minneapolis, Los Angeles and San Francisco, this time the rossoneri are going to kick off from Kansas City joining this great competition in which 18 of the most famous and top international teams take part and that has become a highly important showcase. This will be AC Milan’s sixth participation in the ICC, the fourth in the US.
The brand ambassadors Daniele Massaro and Franco Baresi attended – respectively - the events in New York and Cardiff during which the dates and locations of the matches, together with AC Milan's opponents for the ICC 2019 were disclosed:
"It is the sixth time we participate in this beautiful summer competition – said Daniele Massaro during the event in New York - There is a great desire for football here in the US, they want to grow in this sport and there is a lot of attention for European clubs: we saw it first-hand last summer when we played in Minneapolis, San Francisco and Los Angeles and we still see it today. I am proud to represent AC Milan, which continues to be among the most followed teams all over the world and which, also thanks to these tours, will further expand its fan base".
Franco Baresi, during the event in Cardiff, added: "When I arrived in Cardiff for the presentation of the ICC 2019 match we will play on August 3 against Manchester United, I thought about the tragedy that involved Emiliano Sala last January. My heart and that of everyone at AC Milan echoes the great fondness shown by the city and Cardiff City FC. Playing against Manchester United brings back memories of the great European challenges between these two clubs, especially the double semi-final of the 2007 UEFA Champions League, which led us to the final in Athens. Our desire is to offer, together with the Red Devils, a great show to all fans who will come for the game".
