On the afternoon of Sunday 21 July, the Rossoneri underwent their first training session at the Harvard Ohiri Training Center. After the warm-up, the Coach led the team through exercises on the ball before tactical drills on the pitch. After that, the squad was split into groups with technical work on one side and fitness work on the other.

Monday 22 July will be the day ahead of Bayern Munich v AC Milan in the Diavolo's opening fixture in the 2019 ICC. In the morning, another training session is scheduled at the Harvard Ohiri Training Center in Boston before the team will leave for Kansas City. The pre-match press conference featuring Marco Giampaolo and Andrea Conti will be held at Children's Mercy Park which will be the venue for the fixture before the final training session takes place at Swope Soccer Village.
