    "My first pre-season camp at AC Milan? It was under Nils Liedholm, up in the mountains. Then Arrigo Sacchi took over and after that we always stayed at Milanello, we always held our pre-season training camp at our own Sports Centre". At the Harvard Ohiri Training Center, Daniele Massaro, currently with the squad in the USA for the ICC 2019, compared how teams used to prepare during the summer to how things are now. One big difference according to the former striker was that "we were lucky we didn't travel much, so the Coach had more time to focus on getting the team ready with all the facilities at Milanello. We also didn't have much time to relax, after dinner we used to go straight to bed, knowing an even more demanding day awaited."
