BENNACER MVP OF LILLE V AC MILAN
Awards
They no longer come as surprises. However, what is surprising is their continuity, not only in the long term, but also during each game. We’re talking about the performances of Ismaël Bennacer, a leading figure during the clash in the Europa League away against Lille. His brilliant performance was recognised by Rossoneri fans as well, who selected him on the Official Club App as the match MVP with 57% of the votes. The Rossoneri number 4 finished ahead of Theo Hernández (17%), Samu Castillejo (14%) and Sandro Tonali (12%).
Dynamism, industriousness, quality and pressing: Bennacer did it all during the game, as the statistics show. The Algerian is first for successful dribbles (100%), balls recovered (ten) and freekicks won (four). What's more, he's second for tackles won (two), balls intercepted (three) and forward-going throws (four). It was a sensational performance, congratulations Ismaël!
