The English defender earned over 60% of fans' votes – ahead of Çalhanoğlu, Kjær and Díaz – after a substantial, near-perfect performance, perhaps his best since arriving in Italy.
Tomori did not give up an inch in all 94 minutes of play, and above all he did not lose a duel all game. He also stopped the hosts from going 1-0 up when he cleared Cáceres's header off the line, with Donnarumma beaten.
