Brahim is back shining! In a clash between historic rivals and in one of the most important matches of the league season, the Rossoneri No.10 was in inspired form at a sold-out San Siro. The Spanish playmaker was voted by the Diavolo fans as the best performer in AC Milan v Juventus.
Díaz managed to finish ahead of teammates Fikayo Tomori and Ismaël Bennacer, ending up with the most votes on our official App. With Stefano Pioli having selected him out on the right, Brahim produced a fantastic display, one which culminated in him making it 2-0.
After bagging against Udinese in the Rossoneri’s league opener, his second goal of the campaign was a top-class effort. In the 54th minute, Díaz intercepted a loose ball in midfield and went on the charge. Having got the better of Bonucci, the Spaniard was able to fire past Szczęsny with his right foot.
He thus got on the scoresheet against the Bianconeri again after his finish in Turin in May 2021, a key contribution to AC Milan’s return to Champions League football. But he didn’t just find the net: he was also the best Rossoneri performer in terms of chances created (three) and successful dribbles (two). Well played, Brahim!
