Since making his debut in 2017, Matteo's story with the Rossoneri is one that continues to be written. Gabbia is one of the best talents to have come through the youth ranks, constantly developing and consolidating himself a place in the First Team squad. Milanello has become the Italian defender's natural habitat, who game after game is becoming an important part of the Rossoneri line-up.

Determination and fighting spirit are always in abundance when called into the team by Coach Pioli, who has found him to be an important resource for the squad. The number 46 has played five games this season, in all competitions, and has performed well in all of them, demonstrating again his reliability and constant development in many different aspects of the game.
