The perfect way to sign off the season in front of their home fans and celebrate a special occasion, with their mothers’ names on the back of their shirts. That was the story of AC Milan Women's afternoon, as the Rossonere returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Parma, climbing provisionally into fifth place ahead of the completion of the penultimate round of the season. A goal from Arrigoni and brace from captain Grimshaw marked the final goals of the 2025/26 season at the PUMA House of Football, sealing a deserved return to victory on a rainy afternoon in Milano.

It was a win built gradually, with a dominant second-half display improving on a first period that had brought a few anxious moments. The performance demonstrated the side's progress, continuing to hold their own in an increasingly competitive league, against a Parma team that never gave up (despite having already secured safety following Genoa's defeat to Fiorentina in the weekend opener). Credit to all of the Rossonere, who approached the occasion in the best possible way and will now bring their 2025/26 Serie A campaign to a close next weekend away to Ternana Women.

    MATCH REPORT
It was a real battle from the very first moments. In the 4th minute, Distefano narrowly missed the target, while Uffren fired over the bar ten minutes later. The Rossonere’s first real attacking move proved decisive: after sustained pressure, Arrigoni opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the box, aided by a slight deflection off Ambrosi. A chance from a corner followed in the 19th minute, but Soffia’s left-footed effort drifted off target. Parma struck back a minute later in spectacular fashion, as Uffren found the net from midfield with an unstoppable left-footed effort beyond Giuliani. Milan’s response came through Stokić, whose shot on a sixpence in the 25th minute was saved by Copetti. Further efforts followed for the Serbian attacker, first seeing a shot blocked on the half-hour mark and then narrowly failing to connect with an inviting cross from Mascarello in the 34th minute.

The Rossonere returned for the second half unchanged and immediately looked more dangerous, with Grimshaw going close in the 48th minute after narrowly missing contact inside the six-yard box. AC Milan raised the tempo and continued to attack with intensity. Just past the hour mark, Kyvåg tested Copetti with a difficult save at her near post. A goal seemed only a matter of time, and it arrived in the 66th minute when Grimshaw turned home from close range on the back of Koivisto’s driven effort, capping another flowing attacking move. Milan kept pushing for a third, with chances falling to Keijzer in the 72nd minute and Arrigoni in the 84th. The third goal eventually arrived right on the 90-minute mark, Grimshaw heading home from close range after Copetti had parried Kyvåg’s initial effort.
