Christian Terni's Under-18 side are taking a break as well, though the pause for them is shorter than the wait for Abate's Primavera. The Rossoneri are back in action on the last weekend of November when they host Monza at the PUMA House of Football - the first in a string of fixtures in the final few weeks of 2022.
The Biancorossi are currently bottom of group B, while Milan are in fourth, two points behind Inter and Torino who are in joint second. After that, the Rossoneri host Atalanta on the first weekend of December before travelling to Torino and Cagliari. They will then have another short break before getting back to it in the second half of January.
AC Milan U18 have cemented their position as one of the most solid sides of the group in their first eight games. They have the best defence in their group - 9 goals conceded, only Fiorentina in the other group have more - but they have lost just one game (to Parma), winning three and drawing four. Not one single game has been decided by a difference of more than one goal.
There is certainly room for improvement in attack - 11 goals scored, only Monza have fewer - for a group that will play their next four games while the Primavera are on pause. The break could free up some of the "under age" players from the age group above to help the team to continue this positive start to the season.
