WOMEN'S PRIMAVERA, A SUCCESSFUL JANUARY FOR THE TEAM

Three wins in the first three games of the year for Coach Corti's girls

The 6-1 infliction against Hellas Verona at the PUMA House of Football rounded off a very satisfying month of January for Coach Corti's Rossoneri. After a first half of the season at a very high level, it was not at all expected of them to come back from the long winter break and show such consistency with the performances that the U19 women's team had become accustomed to.

From the 1-0 home win over Parma that opened the year to the six goals scored against the Gialloblù, and then the away win against Fiorentina to complete a trio of victories that has instilled confidence and awareness ahead of the upcoming games. But the month that has just passed was also full of novelties and pleasant discoveries: first and foremost the convincing impact of Oona Sevenius and Nesrine Bahlouli.

The Dutch striker - born in 2004 - was the star of the match against the Veronese side, scoring a splendid hat-trick, first opening the scoring in the 10th minute and scoring twice more in the second half. Renzotti - a brace - and Vittoria Cappa were the other Rossoneri scorers. In the match against Fiorentina, however, it was Frenchwoman Bahlouli who found her first goal in an AC Milan shirt.

And now, the first days of February need to be faced with the usual determination: the challenge away at the leders Juventus - and waiting for the games involving Roma and San Marino. In the match against them this season the Rossoneri won 1-0 in Turin, but since then the Bianconeri have never been defeated. The aim is to continue to amaze.
