Extending their unbeaten run and finishing the season with a flourish: this is the aim for Ganz's Rossoneri ahead of the final game of the Women's Serie A season. After the win in the derby (3-1) at the PUMA House of Football they have had three draws in a row - all with a different scoreline, but equally exciting. One constant has been the comebacks: firstly in the 3-3 draw against Juve, then in the most recent draw with Roma.
Four games without a defeat and just as many convincing performances, despite numerous injuries and absences that the Rossonere have had to cope with. The last few weeks have also seen a number of new faces on the pitch: from Chanté Dompig, with two goals in four appearances, to Nesrine Bahlouli, also a star for the Primavera. The Dutch striker, in particular, was coming back after a long injury, but immediately showed her talent.
Among the positive notes of this final phase of the season, also stands out the exponential growth of Angelica Soffia, who has highlighted all the qualities - technical and character - at the disposition of the 2000-born player. And now, a weekend break is scheduled for the Rossonere, to recover energy and increase concentration towards the last - and crucial for the standings - league match of the Championship Round: the eagerly anticipated derby against Inter, scheduled for the weekend of 28 May.
"We have to be ready, a tough match awaits us, which will also count for the pride of the city. We have fifteen days to prepare for it in the best possible way, and we will be ready to battle, hoping in the meantime to recover some players", this is how Mister Ganz anticipated the derby at the end of AC Milan v Roma. "A victory would also allow us to secure third place, come on girls!"
