AC MILAN ANNOUNCES SUMMER FRIENDLY AGAINST SK RAPID IN VIENNA

AC Milan is delighted to announce that the First Men's Team will participate in a friendly match against SK Rapid on Saturday, 20 July at 5.30 PM local time, at the Allianz Stadion in Hütteldorf, Vienna. This announcement comes as the season draws to a close, with the Rossoneri securing second place in Serie A and qualifying for both the Champions League and the Final Four of the Italian Super Cup.

The upcoming match will hold special significance as both clubs celebrate their 125th Anniversary in 2024. This friendly encounter won't be the first meeting between AC Milan and SK Rapid, with the teams having previously faced each other seven times in official competitions. Their most recent encounter was in the Round of 16 of the 1973/74 Cup Winners' Cup, where AC Milan emerged victorious with a 2-0 win in Austria, including a brace from Bigon.

The match against SK Rapid in Vienna will precede AC Milan's pre-season Tour, which will see the Rossoneri play three friendly matches in three cities in the US between the end of July and the beginning of August, in preparation for the 2024/25 season.
