KALULU GETS ALMOST AN HOUR OF ACTION IN FRANCE'S 5-0 VICTORY

We have almost reached the end of yet another international break, after which, league and cup competitions will be played out uninterrupted until the end of the season. In the next few hours, AC Milan will return to training, with their match against Bologna in less than a week's time. The team are ready to gradually welcome back those who have been away with their respective countries, like Pierre Kalulu who was in action last night.

His team were due to travel to Ukraine to continue their 2023 European qualification campaign, following the 2-0 win against the Faroe Islands, which consolidated their lead in Group H, with 19 points on the board. The postponement changed the plans however, allowing the French U21 side to play a friendly: in Calais, the hosts beat Northern Ireland 5-0 (goals coming from Larouci, Diop, Gouiri, Caqueret and Kalimuendo)

Kalulu started the game, and was substituted after 58 minutes, as he made way for Omari. That's yet another appearance to add to Pierre's tally in the French youth setup, who continue to call on him.
