ASSIST FOR BARTESAGHI, PAVLOVIĆ PLAYS IN SERBIA'S WIN

Half an hour for Gimenez with Mexico, Gabbia, Loftus-Cheek and Estupiñán on the bench

Before we close out, the International break saw a very busy Tuesday with several fixtures featuring Rossoneri players.

Starting off with the official games, specifically the World Cup qualifiers,  Strahinja Pavlović played 84 minutes for Serbia against Andorra in their 1-3 win. A victory that consolidated Serbia's position in third place (one point behind Albania). On the other hand, Matteo Gabbia stayed on the bench for Italy's 3-0 win over Israel in Udine. A victory that secured Italy's spot in the playoff, thanks to being in second place (15 points). Ruben Loftus-Cheek was also on the bench for England's 5-0 win over Latvia in Riga, confirming the Three Lions' ticket to the 2026 World Cup.

Christian Pulisic played just 31 minutes for the USA in their friendly against Australia, where they won 2-1 in Commerce City. Pulisic was forced off due to a muscle injury. Pervis Estupiñán did not play for Ecuador in their friendly against Mexico, drawing 1-1 in Guadalajara, in a brief face-off with his AC Milan teammate, but opponent in this case, Santiago Gimenez, who was on the pitch for half an hour in the second half.

Taking a look at the Under 21s, Davide Bartesaghi stood out in Italy's game against Armenia as the Italian side secured a 5-1 win in Cremona thanks to Bartesaghi's assist (for Camarda) in their second goal. The victory brought the Azzurrini back to the top of their group for the 2027 Euros qualifiers.
