ENGLAND DRAW WITH URUGUAY, TOMORI STARTS

Valuable game time and promising signs for Estupiñan, Jashari, Pavlović, and Athekame

A Friday that featured several international fixtures and plenty of Rossoneri, but with very few thrills. Pervis Estupiñan came on in the 72nd minute of Morocco vs. Ecuador, putting in a good performance in a game that ended 1-1. Ardon Jashari played for the entirety of the second half in the entertaining 3-4 clash between Switzerland and Germany. Strahinja Pavlović played 83 minutes against Spain in a challenging match for Serbia, which ultimately ended 3-0.

Fikayo Tomori also picked up valuable game time, as he stayed on the pitch until the 70th minute in the 1-1 draw between England and Uruguay, a friendly that served as a taste of the real World Cup. His display was composed and confident. Finally, Zachary Athekame started for Switzerland U21 against the Faroe Islands, playing the full 90 minutes and offering a consistent attacking drive in a convincing performance as part of his international development.
