LAST MINUTE COMEBACK: 1-2 AGAINST VARESINA

Milan Futuro found their spark again in Venegono Superiore as they made a 2-1 comeback against Varesina. The hosts struck first with a header from Costantino, but Massimo Oddo's boys found their momentum as the game continued. In the second half, Ibrahimović equalised after a run down the right, and Magrassi sealed the win with a right-footed shot into the top corner, bringing home three crucial points. It was a performance that was a testament to the Rossoneri's technique and resilience: Varesina's set pieces caused trouble throughout, forcing Dutu and his teammates into some rigorous defending, but they managed to keep the danger at bay. 

It was a match of two halves: the Rossoneri kept calm possession for long stretches, while Varesina struck early and then dropped deep. looking to strike on the break or from their many set pieces. When Filippo Scotti, captain of the Primavera side, came, the game changed in momentum with an added spark and depth to an attack that seemed quite slow against the experienced Fenici backline. Oddo's men found themselves behind almost immediately. Just four minutes in, a Rossoneri clearance fell to Grieco, who whipped in a long, driven cross.
