MILAN FUTURO WIN 3-1 AGAINST CASTELLANZESE

Second-half goals from Ossola and Borsani see Oddo's side claim a second straight win

Milan Futuro made it back-to-back wins with a 3–1 victory over Castellanzese at the Felice Chinetti, following their comeback success against Varesina. The match was lively from the off: Guerrisi gave the visitors the lead after six minutes, before Simone Branca replied five minutes later with a precise left-footed strike. In the second half, Massimo Oddo’s changes proved decisive, as substitutes Lorenzo Ossola and Emanuele Borsani came off the bench to turn the game: Ossola tapped in from close range before Borsani sealed the result with a brilliant solo goal.

The performance underlined the Rossoneri youngsters’ growing maturity in the division. After an action-packed opening, Milan Futuro raised the tempo and quality in possession, striking at key moments. Branca stood out in midfield, scoring his third league goal and remaining a constant threat, while 2007- and 2008-born substitutes Ossola and Borsani delivered the decisive blows. A valuable win that lifts Oddo’s side firmly into the Playoff places and extends their positive run ahead of the away trip to Vogherese.

MATCH REPORT
The match was lively from the outset, as Castellanzese took the lead in the 6th minute through Guerrisi, who protected the ball well before beating Torriani at the near post with a left-footed finish. Milan Futuro responded immediately and drew level five minutes later: Simone Branca received the ball at the edge of the area, shifted it onto his left foot and found the bottom corner with a precise strike. This intensity was maintained throughout the half, with Karaca going close and Branca again testing the Castellanzese goalkeeper from distance. The Rossoneri continued to push before the break, but the teams went in level at 1–1.

The second half began at a calmer tempo, with Milan Futuro gradually increasing their pressure. After a series of half-chances, Massimo Oddo’s substitutions proved decisive. In the 66th minute, sustained pressure in the box led to the breakthrough: after a scramble in the six-yard area, the ball fell to Lorenzo Ossola, who tapped into an empty net to make it 2–1. Castellanzese attempted to respond, but Milan Futuro managed the game well and continued to look dangerous on the counter. Then, deep into stoppage time, the Rossoneri sealed the result in style. Emanuele Borsani produced a brilliant individual run, beating several defenders before finishing confidently to make it 3–1.
