Milan Futuro suffered a narrow defeat at the Felice Chinetti Stadium in Solbiate Arno, losing 1-0 to Virtus CiseranoBergamo on Matchday 23 of Serie D, Group B. The game was decided early in the second half when Viscardi headed in from a corner, extending Milan Futuro’s run of home defeats. Massimo Oddo’s side struggled against a compact and stubborn opponent, who capitalised on a set piece and then held firm against AC Milan’s pressure. It's a tough moment, but there were encouraging signs, with players showing improvement and new arrivals, like Magnus Dalpiaz, making their debuts.
Despite the result, Milan Futuro can hold their heads high after a first half that was evenly matched and a second half in which the Rossoneri created more chances and controlled the game, even if they couldn’t break through Bergamo’s well-organised defence. Once again, a set piece proved decisive. In the standings, Milan Futuro remain on 35 points, in 6th place alongside Caldiero Terme, right in the middle of the pack battling for second place and playoff spots. In the next round, they'll have another chance to turn around their poor home form, hosting Breno once again at Chinetti Stadium.
