A hard-won victory, three valuable points and an increasingly promising position in the table. Milan Futuro beat Piacenza 2-1 at the Chinetti in Solbiate Arno, finishing their rescheduled Serie D Group B Matchday 5 fixture in the best way possible. The unusual encounter kicked off on October 14th but was suspended at halftime with the score at 0-0 after the referee suffered an injury. Play then resumed three weeks later, with some changes to the lineups. Both of Milan Futuro’s goals were scored in the second half, one by Ossola and one by Asanji, before Raffini pulled one back for the visitors. It was a well-earned victory for the Rossoneri, who took control of the match from the opening minutes after the restart.
Captain Ossola opened the scoring just minutes after play resumed, netting his fourth goal of the season. Asanji, meanwhile, continued his excellent scoring form with his fourth goal in five games. Both players played key roles as Milan Futuro stepped up their performance from the first half played in October, combining quality and determination to secure the win. Despite Piacenza's late attempt at a comeback, the Rossoneri held on to claim all three points, taking their total to 20, just four points off the top of the table and two behind second place.

MATCH REPORT
It was an even start to the game at the Chinetti, with Milan Futuro looking to play at a high tempo through Balentien and build their attacking play down the wings. Piacenza grew into the game and threatened Milan Futuro’s goal with a free kick in the 15th minute, with the ball going narrowly wide. The Rossoneri looked to respond with quick counterattacks, but it was the visitors who found the net in the 26th minute through Mustacchio from a corner, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. Pittarella was called into action on several occasions, while Navarro's side looked to regain ground in the closing stages of the half. In the 39th minute, Sala delivered a ball to the far post, but Bruno gathered it on his second attempt. The first half ended 0-0 before the match was then suspended after the referee suffered an injury.
Three weeks later, Milan Futuro came out all guns blazing and took the lead in the 49th minute. Perera slid in to set up Ossola, who didn’t hesitate and put the Rossoneri 1-0 ahead. Piacenza looked to respond, but Pantelin was alert, making a crucial save from Bakayoko in the 63rd minute. Just two minutes later, Milan Futuro doubled their lead: Vos fired a shot toward goal and Bruno made the save, but Asanji was the quickest to the rebound and slotted the ball home to make it 2-0, scoring his fourth goal of the season. The Rossoneri continued to push forward, but Raffini pulled one back for the visitors with a header in the 84th minute. Piacenza threw everything forward in the closing stages but couldn't find an equalizer. It ended 2-1 at the Chinetti!
