After his first call-up to the Rossoneri squad for our Coppa Italia victory over SPAL, new signing Asmir Begović had his official presentation today. The Bosnian goalkeeper shared his first impressions from the opening days in Rossoneri colours, a new chapter in his career. Here was everything he had to say:
THE FIRST DAYS IN ROSSONERI COLOURS
“It’s a great honour for me to be part of a Club with such great history and tradition. I’ve received an incredible welcome and I can’t wait to get started.”
HIS CONTRIBUTION
“I’ll look to help the team succeed every day, trying to lead by example with my professionality. I’ll be working with Gigio who’s a great player, I’ve come here to help him, to push him, there’s no doubt that he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the world.”
THE OBJECTIVES
“We have to do our absolute best in every game, giving our all for this Club, there’s no reason why we can’t compete with the best sides. There’s a lot of quality in this dressing room and we’ve got a player like Zlatan too, he’s a leader, a winner, someone who always expects the best of himself and his teammates.”

“The stadium is incredible, you can really breathe in the great tradition and history, it’s certainly a special place to play. It’s a pleasure for me to be here in front of these wonderful fans.”

“I’ve heard a lot of great things about Italian football, I have a lot of friends who’ve played here, the fans are extremely passionate. This is a league at the highest level with very strong players and I can’t wait to get going.”
