DALOT: "I HOPE TO DO GREAT THINGS"

Diogo Dalot was the Club’s final acquisition of the summer transfer window. Brought in to bolster the defence, he has both great technique and physicality and can play both on the left and right side of defence. As we wait for his debut, the moment came to present him at Milanello alongside Hauge. Here’s what our new number 5 had to say:
EXPERIENCE
"Having played for a big club like Manchester United, I definitely have a lot of experience already, which I hope to show in the Rossoneri jersey. AC Milan and United are two great teams."
CHARACTERISTICS
"A player always needs to try and improve; I'm trying to both in attack and defence. I want to have this mentality. I feel as though I'm in the right place."
DERBY
"As were on our way to the ground, I was completely speechless. Seeing so many fans out to support us was fantastic. Scenes like that help get you in the mood for the game. I hope to see San Siro full again soon."
LEÃO
"I'm pleased for him and a his performance in the Derby. He's a good player and I'm sure he'll give us a big hand this year."
ROLE
"I've played in various positions in my career, both on the right anf the left. I'm usualy a right-back, but I'm also ready to play in other roles."
MOTIVATION
"I'm only thinking about AC Milan now. My head is here 100% and I hope to do great things and reach all of our objectives."
ROLEMODELS
"Definitely Dani Alves. He was always a point of reference for me as a kid. His play-style made me fall in love with that position."
THE TEAM'S OBJECTIVES
"We need to take it game by game. We're coming from a great win in the Derby, but now we're focused on the Europa League."
