PIOLI: "WE WANT TO REMAIN AT THE TOP"

"It will be a difficult game against tough opposition, who've taken a lot less than they deserved. Tomorrow's game will be hugely important. We're competitive, enthusiastic and we want to win and entertain. We're top of the league and we want to stay there tomorrow."

ENTHUSIASM
"You often lack balance in football, but we need to have it. We're playing with conviction and need to think positively, and only think about what we're doing and how to give it our all. Our mentality is to try to win one game at a time. I like to see a team that has clear ideas and enthusiasm. We like to be together and play together. Raising the team's competitive levels reduces tension and raises every player's concentration."

CONTINUED GROWTH
"There's a lot of satisfaction with what we're doing, but there's still a lot to be done. I've always had great faith in my team; I hoped for this growth and this level of performance. We this to continue and we must be generous and full of desire. We're feeling good; we need to feed this enthusiasm and make our fans even happier, especially in this difficult period."

INDIVIDUALS
"Bennacer has profited from our new system. He's got better at reading the game and in the choices that he makes. With a bit of continuity, he still has a lot of room to improve. We have a lot of different options in midfield, both in terms of technique and tactics. Leão is improving in a lot of areas; he's working hard but can't rest on his laurels, because he has a lot of potential. I can do better and more, but he's young and we need to be a bit patient with him. Rebić is available and in the squad. He'll start on the bench but might come on at some point. Gabbia is not ready but I think he'll be back for Lille in the Europa League. He's always made himself available and I hope he can get back to full fitness. I also have faith in Duarte, he can be useful to us. Musacchio is recovering, but we'll need to wait until after the break to see if he's ready. Castillejo has a slight muscle strain and we don't want to risk him. Díaz is playing well; I'm pleased with how he's training and playing. Saelemaekers' progress is also evident, sometimes he just needs to be a bit more clinical. Ibrahimović is getting even stronger and even more motivated."
