PELLEGRI: "I WANT TO REDEEM MYSELF"

An Italian youngster, motivated and ambitious - Pietro Pellegri is a new Rossoneri player. After the signing, official announcement and first training session, today is his presentation at Milanello. Here's what he had to say during his press conference which was aired on the AC Milan Official App, YouTube and Milan TV:
A PLEASURE, PIETRO
“My experience at Monaco was not very lucky but I would do it again, it was not positive but it was formative. At AC Milan I’ve found a very organised structure, it’s an ideal environment to work in, and to think only of playing. I arrive here with the desire to redeem myself and to prove my worth, repaying the trust of the club. I'm hungry and ambitious: My goal is to convince the Rossoneri to purchase me at the end of the season so I can stay at this great club”.
IBRA AND GIROUD
“Playing for AC Milan, playing with Ibrahimović and Giroud, is a dream. Ibra has been my idol since I was a child, so having met and greeted him was amazing. A champion like him can only spur me on me and make me learn. Giroud is also another champion, a winning player, and watching him I can grow and improve”.
OTHER CURIOSITIES
"I chose number 64 because it’s the year of my father's birth. For all children, playing in the Champions League is a dream. Injuries are part of football, so far I have been unlucky but that's the past and I don't think about it”.
PIOLI’S FIRST IMPACT
“The Coach expects availability and sacrifice, he hasn’t given me specific tasks yet. I’ll give my best for the team, then the goals will arrive. I guarantee my desire to work and that I have the determination”.
