VRANCKX: "HERE WITH A LOT OF MOTIVATION"

Putting the away game in Genoa to bed and turning our minds to Wednesday's match against Dinamo Zagreb at San Siro, this Sunday saw the official presentation of our new signing Aster Vranckx. His first press conference was broadcast live on the AC Milan Official App, Milan TV, YouTube and Twitch. 

HIS ARRIVAL AT AC MILAN
"I am at a great club, one that has made football history: so many great players have been here. Here everything is elite, even the facilities, it's something that helps me and motivates me to give more and more. I arrived here with great motivation and desire to achieve. I feel ready. I'll train as well as I can and give my all to earn this opportunity".

THE DEBUT AGAINST SAMPDORIA
"They were important and difficult minutes, because we were down to 10 players. The coach gave me the right mentality, to run and help my teammates. We had to stick together, press and defend together. We had to give our lives to not concede goals, I went in with this mentality and that's what we did. I gave my best, it was a great emotion. The coach? He always tries to give me advice and help me understand how the team plays".

THE BELGIAN AC MILAN
"I met Saelemaekers and Origi in the national team, while Charles (De Ketelaere) I've known him for longer and I called him before coming here. All three have given me nothing but positive views."

THE EXPERIENCE WITH VAN BOMMEL
"He was always close to me, I learnt a lot from him and his advice. It was an enriching experience."

AC MILAN AND YOUTH
"One of the things that motivated me the most in coming here was seeing that there are so many young players here who are growing well, even in the Champions League, and who won last year. It was something that influenced my decision."
