REIJNDERS: "I'M NOT AFRAID OF MAKING MISTAKES"

It has been a summer of big changes in the Rossonero world, as our fifth signing, Tijjani Reijnders, introduced himself to journalists during a press conference at Milanello, live on Milan TV, YouTube, Twitch and the AC Milan Official App.

WHAT TYPE OF PLAYER
"I am a modern midfielder, I would define myself as box-to-box, more offensive than defensive. I like to build play and create chances for my teammates, that's what I do best. I want to improve on a technical and tactical level. The Coach wants two offensive midfielders who are able to create, session after session, we will find the right balance between ourselves."

PREFERENCE FOR MILAN
"I spoke with Moncada and Pioli, they explained what they expect from me and made the choice a lot easier. This is a massive club, for whom I am proud to play. I want to have confidence, on and off the pitch. I'm not afraid of making mistakes, I will play with a smile, I want people to see my smile and think that I'm doing well here."

"We are not very similar players, I am more of a creator whilst he is even more attacking. I spoke with him, and he told me nothing but positive things about Italy and Serie A, which I think is a perfect league to develop in, it was an easy choice."
