After his first few hours in Italy and the AC Milan world, and ahead of his debut on the pitch, Santiago Gimenez was as a Rossoneri player at Casa Milan. Accompanied by Zlatan Ibrahimović, this is what the Mexican striker had to say:

"We've been following him closely and tried for him in the summer, but the opportunity wasn't there. We're very happy that he's here, he possesses real quality, especially inside the penalty area, and is hungry to score goals, just like Camarda. We'll give him all the support necessary to help him perform at his best and deliver results. The fact we'll be facing Feyenoord in the Champions League play-offs almost feels like destiny."

"Yesterday was a very intense and lively day, but everything was always under control. I'd like to thank everyone involved: we did a great job and, in collaboration with the Coach, accomplished everything we wanted to. We're not satisfied with our season to date; we've lacked consistency, even if we're the only ones to have won a trophy.
