TERRACCIANO: "AC MILAN IS THE PINNACLE"

After Pervis Estupiñan, Casa Milan hosted Pietro Terracciano's presentation press conference. The goalkeeper from Campania made his Rossoneri debut in pre-season, and today, he spoke to the press, live on the AC Milan Official App and Milan TV.

GOALKEEPERS
"We need to become a unit; they've welcomed me really well. The goalkeeping coach has a lot of experience, and I knew he'd have a great approach. I was eager to get to know Maignan. As captain, he's given me a warm welcome too. One of the first things I told myself was to earn it every single day. I know what my role is on the pitch and in the dressing room. I'll be really when called upon."

ON TORRIANI
"I've only known him for a few weeks, but it's clear that he's very talented. He never settles. He's got a great head on his shoulders and has the right mentality to succeed. Working with great goalkeepers here at Milan will be useful for him. He has a great attitude."

ON MAIGNAN
"I've always wanted to meet him. He always seemed to have a great personality, and that is the case. All the positive things that I thought about him have proved to be true. I want to thank him for the way he's welcomed me. I only have good things to say about him."

THE NUMBER 1 SHIRT
"I've always worn it whenever I've had the chance. A goalkeeper wears number 1, so I took it."

AC MILAN
"I never really thought about it until the chance came around. Everybody wants to play for a big club. I'm proud to be here; it's the pinnacle of a journey I started many years ago. I always discuss things with my family, my wife and my dad; they told me to come here, because it was a huge opportunity for me. I always want to improve, even at my age. We want a do-over after a subpar season and take AC Milan back to the top."

"My first impressions were better than I expected. We had a lot of interest and support from the fans abroad; seeing that many Milanisti was amazing. I can't wait to see everyone at San Siro for the Bari game."
