ALLEGRI: "RESPECT, ORGANISATION AND UNITY NEEDED"

The Coach's thoughts from Milanello ahead of AC Milan v Parma

It's now time to take on Parma after the rescheduled game against Como. We're back at San Siro, ready for an intense and important run of games. The Rossoneri are preparing to return to Serie A action on matchday 26, Sunday 22 February at 18:00 CET. Coach Allegri spoke to journalists in his pre-match press conference at Milanello, live on Milan TV and the AC Milan Official App:

AC MILAN v PARMA
"The matches are becoming increasingly important. Parma are doing very well: they're solid defensively and have some technically gifted players. It will require great respect for the opposition, discipline, and unity. Winning won’t be easy. I'm disappointed I won't be in the dugout."

THE LEAGUE, VAR AND THE FANS
"There's still a long way to go. Inter are doing very well and, at this rate, could reach around 90 points - they’re clear favourites for the Scudetto. If they slip up, we'll see. Our aim is to get as many points as possible to secure Champions League qualification, starting with a win over Parma. We're focused on working hard and playing; we mustn't waste energy. The team knows its limits: at times, we could have done more, but we're always striving to get better. VAR needs to be improved in terms of objectivity, trying to avoid mistakes. On our side, there must always be fair and respectful behaviour, even if that's not always easy. To the fans, I ask you to continue supporting us, as you have done from our very first match in the Coppa Italia: together, we can achieve our goal."

INDIVIDUALS
"We were worried Pavlović might have been injured after the Como match, but he's available, even if not fully fit. Leão is in better shape than Pulisic. Despite playing fewer minutes than expected, they've both scored plenty and will be decisive from now on. Modrić is one of a kind; he moves me, and it's wonderful to be able to work with a champion like him. Jashari is developing a lot, as are De Winter, Athekame, and Odogu."
