It’s set to be a July like no other. A month that normally marks the start of a new sporting season, but one that this year will see the end of the one still underway. After the long time out and then our return to football, July will be the hottest month of the league campaign, not just with the high temperatures, but also due to the staggering number and frequency of fixtures. AC Milan have nine games in the diary, almost all of those which remain in the league campaign except the final day of the season in August, and the majority of them taking place on the road.

Things kick off right away on Wednesday 1 July, the Rossoneri heading to the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Ferrara to face SPAL with a 21:45 CEST kick-off. There’s then not long before we travel to Rome, as Saturday the 4th sees Lazio v AC Milan get going at 21:45 CEST at the Olimpico. That fixture marks the start of a series of huge, difficult and decisive matches, with AC Milan v Juventus at 21:45 CEST on Tuesday the 7th at San Siro, then Napoli v AC Milan at the San Paolo at 21:45 CEST on Sunday 12 July.

The Rossoneri’s dreams of European qualification may well then be decided by their two home games against Parma (Wednesday 15th at 19:30 CEST) and Bologna (Saturday 18th at 21:45 CEST), as well as their trip to Reggio Emilia to face Sassuolo (Tuesday 21st at 21:45 CEST) and their home clash with Atalanta (Sunday 26th at 19:30 CEST). To finish, Il Diavolo face Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, kick-off for the final game of the month coming at 19:30 CEST on Wednesday 29 July.
