    Serie AMay 17th 2026

It was a bitter evening for AC Milan, who unfortunately lost 0-1 to Parma at San Siro. A difficult result, after producing a large amount of play that, however, never led to a goal. Failing to score was a problem; going behind in the 84th minute was even worse and determined this unexpected and heavy setback. The Rossoneri were generally often frantic and not very clear-headed: they tried, created a lot and even hit the post (Leão) in the second half, but lacked clinical finishing. They were never really under pressure, yet were surprised by Troilo's header from a corner-kick. After Como, an immediate response was needed, but instead came a defeat that had been missing since August, again at home.

A better match had been hoped for on the debut of our Fourth Kit. A heavy blow when looking at the top of the table, now ten points off the top of the table. Even though the objective has always been qualification for the UEFA Champions League. In this sense, at least the slip-ups over the same weekend by some direct rivals offer some consolation. After matchday 26 of the Serie A 2025/26 season, AC Milan remain on 54 points, in second place in the standings and with a four point advantage over Napoli (with Roma still to play). It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but it has to be done in order to bounce back immediately and improve the team's overall performance. On Sunday, March 1 at 12:30 CET, Milan will be in action away to Cremonese. Time to pick ourselves back.

    MATCH REPORT
It was a nervy start: after just two minutes, Valeri put the ball in the middle for Pellegrino, whose first-time effort flashed narrowly wide. In the eleventh minute, Loftus-Cheek was forced off following a collision with Corvi. Jashari looked bright and threatening: his 17th-minute attempt through a crowded area lacked power, while he had another shot smothered by Corvi five minutes later. In between, Pulisic fired straight at the goalkeeper. We were enjoying plenty of possession, and the tempo was growing. Just past the half-hour mark, Leão headed into Corvi’s arms from a Modrić free-kick. Shortly afterwards, Saelemaekers picked out Pulisic, whose shot from a tight angle was saved by the alert goalkeeper. At the other end, Maignan plucked a strike from Strefezza out of the air (38’). The Rossoneri then had a huge chance as Rabiot knocked it down for Pulisic, whose effort brushed the post (42’).

We pushed relentlessly after the break, with Rabiot dragging a left-footed effort wide in the 51st minute. Then, three minutes later, Leão was beaten to the ball by Corvi, before Pulisic was thwarted by a last-ditch intervention by Troilo. A cross from Bernabé after 58 minutes caused a brief scare, but Maignan dealt with it. It was one-way traffic, with only the Rossoneri on the attack. We went agonisingly close as Rabiot crossed for Leão, whose volley struck the inside of the post and went wide. Nicolussi fired a free-kick (68’) over the bar, while Pavlović headed wide from a Bartesaghi delivery (75’). Then came the decisive moment with 84 minutes on the clock: from a corner, Troilo rose to head the ball into the net. The referee initially ruled it out for an infringement on Maignan, but the goal was awarded after a VAR review. A frantic finish followed, but neither Füllkrug nor Rabiot could find a way through. AC Milan 0-1 Parma.
