A scarily good Derby! On Halloween night, the Rossoneri gave Inter a fright with a 3-1 win at San Siro. The Derby is ours again! It is AC Milan’s fourth consecutive victory in the fixture, including the Coppa Italia, and extends the unbeaten run against the Nerazzurri to eight meetings. The Diavolo tore into the opposition from the start: Pulisic struck in the fourth minute, and Rabiot pounced six minutes later. Then came Moreira’s stunning free kick in the shortly before halftime, a moment that has already earned him a special place in Rossoneri hearts. Coach Amorim’s side delivered an excellent first-half performance, full of quality football, courage, and concentration, with Bastoni’s goal the only setback. After the break, a sharp, intelligent AC Milan faced almost no real danger and never looked troubled. Absolutely fantastic, and just what we needed.
The players needed it, and so did the fans. After the recent, painful home defeat to Bologna, this was an emphatic response. This magical victory deserves to be savored. Now the challenge is to find greater consistency over the rest of the season to stay in contention near the top and close the gap to the leaders. Victory on Serie A Matchday 10 takes the Rossoneri to 21 points and provisionally fourth in the standings, four points off the top with the rest of the weekend’s games still to come. Next up is another important game in the Europa League, with Ferencváros visiting San Siro on Thursday, November 5th, at 6:45 PM CET. Forza Diavolo, alééé...

MATCH REPORT
AC Milan was ahead after just four minutes: Moreira found space down the flank and delivered a precise cross for Pulisic, who rose inside the six-yard box to head into the bottom corner. The Rossoneri doubled their lead in the tenth minute. Moreira was the provider again, this time from a corner. Rabiot ran onto his pass and swung in a left-footed delivery that looked like a cross but went in off the post. Maignan held Bisseck’s effort in the 13th minute, before Carlos Augusto headed wide (19’). Inter pulled one back in the 22nd minute: Akanji flicked on Çalhanoğlu’s corner, and Bastoni headed in from close range. Maignan palmed away an effort from Çalhanoğlu (24’), then held Diouf’s low shot just after the half-hour mark. In the 33rd minute, Maignan produced an incredible reflex save to keep out Spence’s close-range effort. Diawara then floated a ball toward Pavlović, who failed to connect cleanly with his header on the run (40’). Maignan saved from Sučić in the 42nd minute, before the Diavolo struck again (43’): a magnificent free kick from Moreira, who curled the ball delicately over the wall with his left foot to beat Martínez. It was 3-1 at halftime.
Diouf attempted a chip in the 54th minute, but it posed no problem for Maignan. A minute later, Çalhanoğlu picked out an unmarked Carlos Augusto, who failed to make contact with the ball and wasted the opportunity. The Brazilian then miscued a shot (63’), before Diawara threw himself in front of Barella’s effort (67’). Three minutes later, Maignan denied Thuram in a goalmouth scramble. The substitutions did little to change the pattern of a largely subdued second half. Akanji and Zieliński had efforts on target (84’ and 87’), respectively. In the first minute of stoppage time, Cisse’s fine right-footed strike forced Martínez into a flying save. AC Milan 3-1 Inter.
