PREVIOUS MEETINGS AT SAN SIRO

3- Torino have historically struggled in their encounters with AC Milan at San Siro in Serie A: the Rossoneri are unbeaten in 23 home games against the Granata (15 wins, eight draws). Only against Verona do the Diavolo have a longer ongoing undefeated run (28 fixtures).

CURRENT FORM

5- San Siro has returned to its status as a fortress: AC Milan are unbeaten in five league fixtures at their stadium. The last time the Rossoneri went on a longer undefeated run on home soil in a single Serie A season was in October 2018 (seven fixtures).

GENERAL STATISTICS

6- AC Milan have tended to try to tackle games head-on this season: the Diavolo have allowed the opposition to shoot just 105 times during the first half of matches so far, less than any other side.

7- AC Milan have been unlucky when they’ve gone on the attack: after 23 matchdays, only Napoli (17) have hit the woodwork on more occasions than the Rossoneri (13).

8- The Diavolo have an excellent record when it comes to games played at the start of the week: AC Milan haven’t lost a Monday night kick-off the Italian top flight since 1934 (0-1, with Nereo Rocco on the scoresheet). The Rossoneri have played a total of 12 Serie A matches on a Monday, winning six, drawing five and losing just the one game mentioned above.

PLAYER FOCUS

9- Zlatan Ibrahimović is yet to suffer defeat in four Serie A fixtures against Torino in Serie A (three wins, one draw), scoring three times in the process. Our Swedish striker (124) is close to matching the number of goals scored by former AC Milan greats Andriy Shevchenko (127) and Gianni Rivera (128).

10- Ante Rebić has scored at least twice as many goals as any other AC Milan player in Serie A in 2020 (four). The Croatian’s first goal in Italy’s top tier came against Torino in May 2014 when he was on Fiorentina’s books.

COACHES

11- Stefano Pioli and Moreno Longo have faced off on just one occasion as coaches: the match finished in a 1-1 draw between Fiorentina and Frosinone in November 2018, with the current Rossoneri Coach in charge of the Viola and the new Granata Coach in the Canarini dugout at the time.
