AC MILAN V SPARTA PRAHA, IN NUMBERS

Nine facts from the game at San Siro: take a look

AC Milan's 3-0 win over Sparta Praha was their second consecutive victory in Group H and the Rossoneri are now two points ahead of Lille. There was a lot for Stefano Pioli to be pleased with: from phases of possession to playing without the ball; all the way up to productivity in attack. The goals were scored by Díaz, Leão and Dalot, and those three are central figures in the nine post-match facts.

1- AC Milan have scored two or more goals in twelve consecutive games in all competitions since Serie A had been played in a round-robin format (since 1929/30).

2- This is the first time since September 2017 (against SPAL) that AC Milan haven't allowed a shot on target in a home game in all competitions.

3- AC Milan have scored in twelve consecutive games in international club football for the first time since December 2007 (15).

4- Brahim Díaz needed just seven appearances with AC Milan to beat his personal best for goals in a single season in one of Europe's Top-5 leagues (in all competitions): three.

5- Before Brahim Díaz, the last player to score in each of his first two Europa League games with AC Milan was Gonzalo Higuaín in October 2018.

6- Since the start of the last decade, only three Portuguese players have scored for AC Milan in all competitions, two of these scored tonight: Diogo Dalot and Rafael Leão.

7- Diogo Dalot scored with his first shot for AC Milan.

8- Five of Rafael Leão's nine AC Milan goals have come as a substitute.

9- Zlatan Ibrahimović had not provided an assist in the Europa League since March 2017, against Rostov with Manchester United. The Swede is the oldest active player to have played in the Europa League this season.
