The most interesting facts following the draw in Bergamo

AC Milan played out a draw in their first away fixture of the new Serie A season: it finished 1-1 in Bergamo this evening. The Rossoneri's goal was scored by Ismaël Bennacer, whose second-half strike cancelled out Ruslan Malinovskyi's opener in the first half. These are the facts and figures to come from tonight's showdown at the Gewiss Stadium:

1- AC Milan are the side to have gained the most points after trailing in Serie A in 2022 (14).

2- AC Milan have only lost one of their last 22 games in Serie A (W15 D6); indeed, the Rossoneri are unbeaten in each of their last 18 league games.

3- Ismaël Bennacer has scored each of his four goals in Serie A during the second half and each of his last three on the road.

4- For the first time under Pioli, AC Milan have not won both of their first two Serie A games of the season - they did it in 2020-21 and 2021-22.

5- Theo Hernández has played his 100th match in Serie A, while Fikayo Tomori has played his 50th game in the competition.
