A long-awaited and well-deserved satisfaction for the Rossonere, who clinch a 2-1 victory in the home Derby against Inter, closing the Serie A Women's regular season in the best possible way. The match is decided by an own goal early on by Alborghetti and a goal by Stašková, with Serturini pulling one back for the Nerazzurre, but it's not enough. This win confirms the growth of Mister Corti's squad, securing their second consecutive league victory and maintaining an unbeaten home record for 7 matches. These are promising signs for the upcoming challenges, specifically the double Coppa Italia Semifinal and the Poule.
The regular season, despite many difficulties, concludes in sixth place with 21 points, showcasing a 2024 on the rise, both in performances and results. Two consecutive victories against Sampdoria and Inter hadn't occurred for quite some time, reflecting the current momentum of the team. This positive phase is also reflected in Stašková's numbers, scoring her fifth goal in Serie A in 2024 and becoming increasingly decisive. The focus now inevitably shifts to the Coppa Italia and the double clash against Roma: 3 March at the PUMA House of Football, and 10 March at the Tre Fontane.

The Rossonere start with a sprint, unlocking the game in the 9’ thanks to a successful move by Chanté Dompig: the Dutchwoman escapes on the right and crosses in, causing confusion between Centinja and Alborghetti, leading to an own goal giving the Rossonere the 1-0 lead. The match becomes easier for Mister Corti's side, whose game plan proves successful. Inter leaves spaces that the Rossonere exploit, and the second goal is narrowly missed by Grimshaw twice: in the 17th minute, a shot just wide, and in the 33rd, a right-footed shot tipped over the bar by Centinja. From the resulting corner, Piga puts it back in acrobatically for Stašková to deflect it into the net for a 2-0 lead for Milan. Towards the end of the half, the visitors shorten the gap with a fine goal from Serturini.
Inter's goal spices up the second half, which the Rossonere manage with maturity and solidity, conceding very few chances. In fact, in the 56th minute, the Rossonere sniff out a third goal with a cross from Marinelli, which Centinja parries away, and Grimshaw fails to convert. Just after the hour mark, the Scottish player is unlucky as she is forced off due to a nasty foul by Milinković, who is booked. Inter only threatens our defense in the 81st minute when Giuliani and Guagni save on two close attempts by Serturini. In the end, the team manages the Nerazzurre's long balls with relative ease until the
