WOMEN, AC MILAN v SAMPDORIA: MATCH PREVIEW

It's the last matchday of the 2023/24 Women's Serie A season. All verdicts have already been issued, the curtain begins to fall on the sporting year of Corti's Rossonere but first, there remains one last match to honour and try to win for many reasons. The Rossonere host Sampdoria aiming to make it ten games without defeat and to close the second phase of the season with zero losses. It's a match to honour by giving their all and an important appointment to bid farewell to a key figure, both on and off the field. Laura Fusetti, who has worn this shirt since the Club's first day, will play her last game with AC Milan and bid farewell to the Rossoneri fans. Emotion will be high, as well as the gratitude of all supporters. The victory against Napoli in the most recent match (2-0) halted a difficult period, consisting of four winless games, but the Poule had started on the right foot. Two victories in the opening matches before the Blucerchiate slowed down once they reached the safety objective. The Blucerchiati will finish in third place, behind AC Milan and Como, but can be satisfied with the 28 points obtained so far, seven more than last season. Beating the Rossonere would be the icing on the cake, and to do so, Gian Loris Rossi's team - coach since the beginning of April after replacing Mango - will call on their best eleven. All eyes will be on the talent of Tori DellaPeruta, a forward born in 2004 close to reaching double-digit goals.
