The Rossonere secured an important victory on matchday 16 in the Women's Serie A division, defeating Roma 3-2 at the PUMA House of Football. After falling behind in the 32nd minute to a goal from Greggi, the Rossonere quickly responded through Arrigoni, who equalised in the 36th minute. However, Roma restored their lead shortly afterwards through Corelli (38'). In the second half, AC Milan showed great character, drawing level through Koivisto (47') and completing the comeback thanks to Cernoia's finish in the 55th minute.

This victory lifts AC Milan to 22 points in the standings, where they sit level with fifth-place Como, who are in the final Championship Round position. Coach Bakker's side demonstrated great determination and team spirit, managing to overturn a challenging situation. After a balanced first half, the team reacted with grit in the second half. Despite some defensive difficulties, the Rossonere managed their lead with intelligence, staying compact to emerge victorious. It's undoubtedly a result that will boost our girls' confidence and morale heading into their upcoming matches.

    MATCH REPORT
In a first half that began at a fast pace, Roma took the lead thanks to a long-range effort from Greggi in the 32nd minute. AC Milan quickly responded through Arrigoni, who made the most of Soffia's assist to slot the ball into the net (36'). The joy of the equaliser was short-lived, as Corelli put Roma back in front after being picked out by Viens (38'). Despite the scoreline, AC Milan were showing plenty of fighting spirit and determination.

In the second half, the Rossonere came out with renewed energy and immediately drew level in the 47th minute through Koivisto, who finished off a move orchestrated by Stokić. The Rossonere continued to press and were rewarded for their efforts in the 55th minute, when Cernoia scored with a precise effort. Roma tried to respond, but AC Milan defended with discipline while looking to hit their opponents on the break. In the final stages, despite a few scares, Bakker's team managed their lead intelligently.
