AC Milan faced Juventus in the 18th round of Women's Serie A 2024/2025 at the PUMA House of Football. The Rossonere suffered a heavy defeat with a scoreline of 0-6. Juventus dominated the match, with Cristiana Girelli as the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick, while Boattin, Bergamaschi and Vangsgaard completed the scoresheet. This result leaves AC Milan in fifth place in the standings, qualifying Bakker's side to the Championship Round, while Juventus strengthens its top position.

The Rossonere will need to work hard to regain ground in the upcoming matches. Despite the negative result, AC Milan tried to react and showed determination at certain moments of the match. However, Juventus' technical and tactical superiority was evident. The substitutions made in the second half did not manage to change the course of the game. It is important for the Rossonere to keep their confidence and continue working hard to improve future performances, with the league restarting in March: the fixtures will be announced in the upcoming days.

    MATCH REPORT
The first half saw Juventus take control of the match from the early minutes. In the 25th minute, Cristiana Girelli opened the scoring with a header assisted by Lisa Boattin. Just two minutes later, Boattin doubled the lead with a precise shot to the centre of the goal, assisted by Barbara Bonansea. In the 31st minute, a foul in the area by Sara Stokić granted Juventus a penalty, coolly converted by Girelli. Girelli then scored her third goal in the 39th minute with a header, bringing the score to 4-0. AC Milan tried to respond, but the chances created were not enough to trouble the opposing defence.

In the second half, AC Milan made some substitutions to try to change the course of the match, but Juventus continued to dominate. In the 46th minute, Chanté Dompig replaced Sara Stokić, while Emelyne Laurent and Malgorzata Mesjasz came on for Monica Renzotti and Nadine Sorelli respectively in the 57th minute. However, Juventus maintained control and scored the fifth goal in the 89th minute with Valentina Bergamaschi, followed by the sixth goal by Amalie Vangsgaard in the 91st minute. Despite some attempts by AC Milan to reduce the deficit, the match ended 0-6 in favour of Juventus.
