Federico Giunti's Primavera side are stepping up their preparations for the new season. Today in Storo, where the Rossoneri are currently taking part in a training camp, the team played their first friendly of the new season against Hellas Verona. It was a match from which the first assessments could be made regarding the opening few days of hard work in Trentino, with the majority of the players being given a runout.

The friendly was decided in the first half: in the seventh minute, the Rossoneri took the lead from the penalty spot through Riccardo Tonin after the same player had been brought down in the box. With 34 minutes on the clock, AC Milan doubled their lead thanks to Giacomo Olzer, whose free kick beat the wall and nestled in the back of the net at the near post.
