

The 2019 Memorial Scirea belongs to AC Milan who beat Torino 6-1 in the final of the 30th edition of the tournament. The Rossoneri have now won it in consecutive seasons. It was a very enjoyable and balanced match early on with Torino playing aggressively while Milan were creative, looking keep the ball on the ground despite the heavy rain.
The breakthrough for Coach Roberto Bertuzzo's side came in the 11th minute as Nahrudnyy latched onto a through ball from Kevin Zeroli and found the back of the net. However, parity was restored just a few minutes later when Torino equalised after a corner with Gerarca benefiting from a rebound before heading beyond Toriani. Milan kept creating chances and retook the lead in the 22nd minute through Mangiameli who headed in after some indecision from the opposition goalkeeper. The sides went into the break with the Rossoneri leading 2-1.
In the second half, Mangiameli scored another header to extend our lead. From then on, Milan started to run away with it and Nahrudnyy intercepted a pass out from the defence to go through on goal and score, earning the title of top goalscorer for the tournament. The last two Milan goals both came from free kicks. The first through Benedetti in the 61st minute, the second through Sala in the 74th. Following the final whistle, there were great celebrations from Bertuzzo's team as the AC Milan Youth Sector claimed another great accolade. Following the Primavera’s win at the Mamma Cairo Trophy, Milan have also secured the Memorial Scirea which is one the biggest summer tournaments at Under-15 level.
