Giunti’s Rossoneri get off the mark as captain Marco Brescianini’s goal secures all three points in Pordenone on matchday two of the championship. After drawing at home against Spezia last week, it was important that the Primavera left with all three points. A left-footed strike from the captain nineteen minutes into the first half gave AC Milan the advantage, and the visitors were able to see the result over the line. AC Milan face Venezia at the Vismara sport centre next Saturday.

The game was positive, we created a lot more than the scoreline suggests. The only regret is that we were unable to finish the game earlier. I am happy with the performance of my team, we will always come up against teams like Pordenone who fight until the very last minute. The group simply needs to build confidence and self-esteem, which is only possible through hard work, good performances and victories. I am sure we will achieve our objectives. On Wednesday we have a very important match, the Coppa Italia is something we care a lot about. It will be a tough challenge – Samp have a rich tradition of youth football.
