After not playing for more than a month due to the winter break, the Rossoneri youngsters continued their march towards the Primavera 1 division today. In their first fixture of 2020, Coach Giunti's boys completely swept aside Pordenone. 6-0 was the final score, with Maldini, Mionic, Pecorino and Tonin all netting and Capanni bagging a brace. The result was never in doubt as the Diavolo once again showed their quality with assured play in the build-up and a ruthless streak in front of goal. Following this victory, AC Milan sit on 35 points at the top of the league ahead of their away trip to Venezia next week.

    MATCH REPORT

The Rossoneri looked lively from the very start and took the lead after 17 minutes through Maldini, who fired a splendid free kick into the back of the net from the edge of the box. The goal made things easier for AC Milan, who doubled their lead ten minutes later: Daniel Maldini set up Mionic to score a splendid right-footed strike past Ronco. Pordenone were struggling to find an answer as the Diavolo continued to push forward, with both Pecorino and Maldini coming close to adding a third. AC Milan did eventually make it 3-0 in the 52nd minute as Brescianini put in a low cross for Pecorino, who controlled the ball before firing home. The Rossoneri weren't done there and scored their fourth and fifth goals of the match in the space of just a few minutes. Luan Capanni was the player who bagged both, first with a smart finish from the edge of the area and then after taking advantage of a mistake from the away side at the back. In the closing stages, Maldini was brought down in the box and Riccardo Tonin subsequently converted from the penalty spot. It finished 6-0 to AC Milan.
