The first derby of the season for AC Milan Primavera against Inter Milan ended in defeat: the Nerazzurri won 3-0 and are now 18 points clear at the top of the table, really breaking away from Giunti's lads. The game was decided in the first half, with the host's three goals and the first Rossoneri attempt that came only a minute before the break: the pride in the response was a silver lining, with Kerkez and Grassi performing well in their Primavera 1 debuts. It's not the end of the world, though: there's still everything to play for and the action-packed calendar for the next few weeks could be an opportunity for AC Milan to bounce back. On Sunday morning, at 10:30 CET, the Rossoneri will be hosting Sampdoria for the eleventh Primavera 1 matchday.

MATCH REPORT
Following on from the excellent Sunday performance against Empoli, Giunti put faith in the usual team sheet, selecting Mionić and Di Gesù in the middle alongside Tonin and Roback up front. The beginning was tight, with both teams aware of the importance of the match and the first 20 minutes passing without any significant events. The turning point arrived in the 21st minute with Inter Milan going a goal up: Jungdal fumbled the ball and Satriano took his chance, making it 1-0. The Rossoneri comeback never came: the guests took the initiative in the following ten or so minutes to bag another two with a scorcher from Vezzoni and Satriano again scoring, moving quickly to head it in following a free-kick. The first half came to an end with the first attempt from AC Milan: Stanković wasn't going to be beaten by Olzer's longshot on his left foot.
The second half began with three changes for AC Milan, including the Hungarian Kerkez who was making his debut. After a few minutes without any excitement, Giacomo Olzer went for goal in the 68th minute, with a powerful shot that forced Stanković to make a great save in the corner, the Serbian keeper also having to deny a header from Roback following on from Olzer's attempt. Before the final whistle, there were more attempts from Olzer and the skipper Brambilla, with Stanković yet again stopping any chance of it going to 3-1. For AC Milan it is the first defeat at the Vismara since the Primavera 1 return last month.
THE INTERVIEWS
Here's what Federico Giunti had to say at the end of the match: "On the one hand I saw a lacklustre side, which didn't react to the events of the game, and on the other, I saw a side that really wanted to win. They made the most out of our mistakes. A derby can be lost in lots of different ways: today was a negative day and we probably hadn't recovered properly from the previous game, both mentally and physically. The difference was the aggressiveness of their attackers when compared with ours: today we were not very well organised, although until the first goal we were quite well balanced. Milos arrived only recently and we still need to get the best out of him, we obviously need to work on making him understand what we want to do as a team when we're not in possession. Now we're getting ready for the next game: I need to remotivate the boys because we need to make a comeback and we're going to be facing off against a side that is doing well."
