WEEKEND RESULTS: A DERBY WIN FOR THE U17S

It was a bad weekend for AC Milan Primavera, who lost their second consecutive league fixture: Atalanta ran out 3-1 winners at Vismara as the Rossoneri suffered another setback in the playoff race. It was a missed opportunity, with the Diavolo failing to reach the required standard. The team must now dust themselves down and come back stronger. On the other hand, the women’s Primavera side won 2-0 in Sardinia.
The U18s were involved in another draw, this time in Parma. The most positive news to come from the weekend was the U17s’ 2-1 Derby victory: first-half goals from Mangiameli and Rossi sealed the win for Lantignotti’s side, who now sit level on points with Inter at the top of the table. The U13s beat Accademia Inter, while the U17 and U15 women’s teams swept their opponents aside.
