THE WEEKEND'S RESULTS: LOTS OF SMILES FROM THE ROSSONERI
Youth Teams
It was a very satisfying weekend for the Rossoneri Youth Sector! A special mention to both Primavera sides, who both secured important victories in an attempt to achieve their respective targets: the men's team end their season with a comeback, 4-2 victory against Genoa, with Nasti bagging a brace and finishing the season with 16 goals to his name. The women on the other hand, sealed a 2nd place finish at the end of their regular season, with a superb victory away to Pro Sesto.
The U15 National Phase got off to a good start in the round of 16 stage, on the pitch at Udinese. The U16s however, failed to progress beyond their 1-1 draw with Benevento: the return legs await both teams on Wednesday, as they return to Vismara. Finally, the Interregional Phase for the women's U17 and U15 sides will continue, as both teams ran out winners.
