YOUTH LEAGUE: AC MILAN v FC RUH LVIV IN THE ROUND OF 16

AC Milan Primavera's opponents in the UEFA Youth League round of 16 will be FC Ruh Lviv. The match will be played at the PUMA House of Football (28 February, 21:00 CET). This is the result of draw in Nyon: after the round of 16, the winners of the tie will face either Atlético Madrid or Genk, while the Final Four will take place in the Swiss city on 21 April (semi-finals) and 24 April (the final).

Straight knockout matches, with regulation time and possibly extra time plus penalties, remain for the best 16 youth teams in Europe: on the one hand, there are the eight group winners; on the other, there are the qualifiers from the playoff round, where the eight teams that progressed from the domestic champions path came up against the runners-up from the group stage.

For Abate's AC Milan, it is their second appearance in the round of 16, having already reached this stage in 2013/14 in what was the inaugural season of the UEFA Youth League. The ultimate aim is to become European champions, which Benfica achieved last season by beating FC Salzburg, who the Rossoneri got the better of during the group stage.
